A video on IGL from Linking Generations Northern Ireland

November 8, 2016 |

TOY partner Linking Generations Northern Ireland shared with us a wee film they’ve made about the ethos behind their work and the simple but important ideas that lie at the heart of intergenerational practice: making connections to build stronger communities, tackling age stereotypes and sharing skills and experience….

They believe strongly – and we completely agree with them! – that intergenerational approaches are an innovative social tool to work towards building communities for all ages as well as positively engaging with a variety of other social issues such as community safety, skills and knowledge exchange and community wellbeing.
