Delighted to announce that the unique TOY (Together Old and Young) Online Course about intergenerational learning is now free to access at the ECOS Institute

Together Old and Young: An Intergenerational Approach, is a self-paced 4-module course for educators; social care professionals and community leaders who are interested in creating inclusive intergenerational programmes for children (0–8) and older adults.

This course’s unique focus on young children distinguishes it from other intergenerational learning programmes, making it a perfect supplement for university and college programmes about ECEC and working with families and communities.

Are you planning to start an intergenerational initiative involving young children and older adults? Are you looking for new inspiration for your running intergenerational programme? Do you want to lean about what quality looks like in activities that bring together different generations? This course is for you!

The four course modules are:

Module 1: Foundations

Module 2: Society & Community

Module 3: Planning & Facilitation

Module 4: Quality, Sustainability, and Impact

Expected study effort per module is 4 to 6 hours.
